Like the virus, it’s still with us, too.
I suspect those who don’t believe in the virus also don’t believe in climate change. Oh well.
Some 3,000 miles east of Moscow, the Siberian city of Verkhoyansk reached 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit this week. Why is that remarkable?
Verkhoyansk is above the Arctic Circle. It’s normally one of the coldest cities on the planet.
The northernmost city in the US hit 97 degrees, Caribou, Maine.
So, if you want a warm weather experience without oppressive humidity, go North?
What the politicians don’t get — or don’t want to understand — is that it doesn’t matter why climate change occurs. It can be just as fatal, or more so, than a virus.
Do we try to do something about it, or let ourselves become roadkill?
