Going Backwards on Birth Control

Apart from the current Supreme Court nominee, the Trump administration has been doing everything possible to promote demographic change in American and the world.

Put simple, the Administration has been working both to restrict access to birth control and restrict information about birth control.

What does that mean?

(1) Teaching abstinence has no effect on sexual behavior. It doesn’t work. For kids it’s in one ear and out the other.

(2) Affluent whites have access to both information and birth control, while the poor don’t. So affluent whites don’t have kids and poorer minorities do. That adds up to a major demographic shift in the US — and that’s where the Census Bureau says we are headed.

(3) Unwanted pregnancies among the poor will drive up healthcare costs and taxes.

In the future — and by that I mean later in this century — the majority of Americans will be either Hispanic or Asian. You can thank the GOP, Trump and folks like Pat Roberson for helping make this change occur.

Stupid is as stupid does.
