The Pentagon and UFOs

According to a report in the New York Times, the Pentagon has $22 million budgeted for UFO investigations. It’s buried in the DoD budget under the title, Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program. Senator Harry Reid of Nevada is credited as the original proponent for this program, but it’s likely that most members of Congress don’t even know it exists. The Defense budget is huge (both in dollars and pages) and few member read it end-to-end, if any do.

That said, there is video of close encounters between USAF flyers and unknown objects on the New York Times page. So maybe there’s a reason to be concerned.
